You're invited to join the Seaview Business Association with a presentation from Catherine Beard, ExportNZ and ManufacturingNZ Executive Director, with Business Central.
Catherine has been an industry advocate for over 25 years, representing a range of industry groups on a wide range of topics, communicating to Government Ministers, Public Servants and the media on issues of importance to business. Catherine is part of the BusinessNZ Network that is made up of four regional membership organisations, with Business Central being the local membership organisation.
Catherine will give a heads up on what the new Government will be focussing on and what MBIE are planning with an industry Transformation Plan for Advanced Manufacturing. She will comment on New Zealand's place in the world with regard to international relations and trade trends, and would be very interested to hear from attendees about any issues of concern they have and how the new R&D tax incentive scheme is working for them.
