The company Directors have a strong public health background having qualified and worked in the public sectors of Environmental Health and Health Protection. All SMS directors are qualified for designation under public health and biosecurity statutory legislative purposes. Initially established in Invercargill and Queenstown, our head office remains in Queenstown, located in the Frankton Marina. Expansion and diversification has resulted in additional offices located throughout New Zealand, including Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland. Our six divisions through which we deliver a range of services across several disciplines include Consulting, Training, New Zealand BioSecure, Waterways, Building, and Noise, all have a strong public health focus. We specialise in providing quality advice and best practice services and products to meet the needs of our clients. This includes our increasing range of mosquito control products for use in the backyard and other environmentally friendly products for the control of public health and nuisance pests such as mosquitoes, midge, dust mites (a major cause of asthma), nits and head lice, ticks, fleas, cockroaches, moths and other crawling insects. We have been providing mosquito consulting and midge control services throughout New Zealand since 1999. Our team has the unique combination of expertise in vector control and public health nuisance pests, which has ensured all our surveillance, eradication and control programmes have been and continue to be the most successful and cost efficient.
