Keeping the Waiwhetu Stream Pristine!
In a $15M clean-up project completed in 2012, the Waiwhetu stream was decontaminated and restored to a healthy ecosystem. Our current project and its associated visits are about what Council and nearby businesses can all do – usually at low cost, if any, to help keep it that way.

Stormwater drain on Seaview Road and all this ends up in the harbour! Five bag loads of bottles each week are being cleared out of this drain as well as other pollutants.
