Bruce Whiley started his working life as an apprentice fitter turner for Acme Engineering in Petone.  He then  joined the family owned business as a fitter turner in Titan’s engineering workshop.  Later he completed a marketing degree at Massey and has held several positions in Titan including General Manager of the Volvo Truck division.

The passing of founder Max Whiley and the global financial crisis lead to the family pulling back to the core business which is Titan Cranes.  Bruce works at Titan as the Property and Marketing Manager and (with siblings Owen and Jan) is a Director of the Company.

Titan has operated in Seaview for over 50 years and Bruce is keen to see Seaview to grow and improve as both a recreational area and a prosperous business community.
